-
Standardized personnel behavior on-site, mitigating management risks.
-
Integration with construction management software enhances overall site management, improves project progress, saves resources, and increases overall project ROI.

Project Background:
-
The Yuelai Water Plant, co-built by Chongqing Water Group and Sino-French Water Investment Co., Ltd., is a key infrastructure project in the Liangjiang New Area, initiated in 2018.
-
Upon completion, it became Chongqing’s largest water treatment plant, serving the northern region, including Cuntan Free Trade Zone, Lijia, Huangmaoping, Cuiyun, Konggang New City, and parts of Caijia across the Jialing River.
-
The third phase, constructed by China Metallurgical Construction Group (MCC), required strict safety, refined management, and timely completion to ensure regional economic and public welfare benefits.
Project Challenges:
-
The site spans 10.3615 hectares, with over 60 personnel, thousands of equipment units, and scattered construction materials like steel, wood, and debris, creating a complex management environment.
-
Workers often lacked safety awareness, frequently not wearing helmets.
-
Fire hazards due to dispersed combustible materials required real-time AI detection and early warnings.
-
Three tower cranes present dangerous zones; personnel intrusion had to be automatically detected and alerted.
-
Despite 50+ cameras and 24/7 human monitoring, unsafe behaviors persisted, increasing safety risks and management costs.
Fuwee AI Solution:
-
The system consists of front-end cameras, intelligent recognition servers, AI software, alarm terminals, and web-based management platforms.
-
Front-end cameras: Capture HD video from key areas with personnel or high-risk activities.
-
Smart Safety Management System: Parallel processing units perform person recognition, helmet detection, smoking detection, and other functions.
-
Alarm Terminals: Connected to cameras and sound devices for instant alerts.
-
Web Management Platform: Aggregates, displays, and manages captured data for oversight and decision-making.
-
The system enables 24/7 monitoring and analysis, automatically identifying, recording, and reporting unsafe behavior. Key zones trigger real-time audio alerts.
Client Benefits:
-
Fuwee collaborated with MCC to integrate AI into real-world site operations, identifying and mitigating risks.
-
Standardized personnel behavior and operational protocols enhanced safety and efficiency.
-
The AI smart construction management system boosted project management quality, empowered staff, and enhanced MCC’s competitiveness.
Project Outcome:
-
The third phase of the Yuelai Water Plant is now operational, providing 400,000 tons of water daily to northern Chongqing.
-
The project safeguards public water supply, supports economic development, and demonstrates the value of AI-driven construction site management.
