Background

In many critical positions — such as control tower operators, monitoring centers, and power plant supervisors — leaving a post unattended is strictly prohibited, as even a brief absence can result in severe accidents or production hazards.
However, manual supervision of these positions is often challenging and unreliable.

To address this issue, FuweeVision developed an AI-powered Post Departure Detection System, which leverages advanced video analytics to automatically identify when personnel leave their designated stations, ensuring safety and accountability in real time.


Product Overview and Workflow

1. Product Overview

The FuweeVision Smart Safety Management System – Post Departure Detection Module is an intelligent image recognition solution based on real-time video streams.
By integrating deep learning and big data analysis, the system replaces manual observation with automated AI detection, instantly recognizing when personnel leave their assigned posts.

This system utilizes existing surveillance cameras, requires no additional hardware, and provides real-time monitoring, recognition, and alerts to strengthen on-site safety management.


2. Working Process

  1. Front-end cameras continuously upload live video streams to the system server.

  2. The Post Departure Detection System analyzes the video stream in real time.

  3. If a person leaves their workstation, the system automatically captures and saves the event image, while triggering alerts or notifications as configured.

(1) Departure Detection

  • Automatically identifies personnel leaving their workstation to prevent potential safety risks.

  • Supports both indoor and outdoor environments.

  • Adjustable monitoring time intervals to avoid repeated or unnecessary alerts.

  • Recognizes partial or full body, standing or sitting postures, and both front or back views.

  • Multiple detection zones can be configured within one camera’s field of view.

  • Millisecond-level response for immediate alerts.

  • When a departure is detected, the system can issue voice alarms, onscreen warnings, or mobile notifications to ensure prompt action.

  • Directly integrates with existing RTSP-compatible cameras.

  • Recognition accuracy: >95%

  • Detection frequency: Adjustable according to server capacity.

  • Supported camera channels per server: 4–50 (depending on hardware performance).

    • Supports up to 32 camera channels (configurable)
